At Local Arborist, we acknowledge the immeasurable value of trees. They add beauty to landscapes, they purify the air, and they work in symbiosis with other fauna and flora to maintain healthy ecosystems. As arborists, our job is to maintain tree health, but we do so much more than that. We are stewards of nature. We are focussed on preserving and enhancing the beauty of the natural world, so that those around us (and those who come after us) may reap its many benefits.
What Are We Doing?
Maintaining beautiful, mature trees is undoubtedly an immeasurable asset to your Toronto property, whether residential or commercial. Trees improve the curb appeal, increase overall property value, and provide protective qualities. When the health and structural integrity of a tree becomes compromised, so too do all those assets. Cabling and bracing systems offer many benefits to weakened trees.
Continuing Education
As members of the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) we have access to continually evolving research, technology, and training to ensure that we are always providing the best tree care services. By investing in education for our team, we minimize our ecological footprint and maximize the environmental benefits.
Assessment Services
Aside from physical tree care services, Local Arborist also offers Assessment Services. Tree assessments are essential in determining the best course of action when it comes to tree care and maintenance. Our Assessment Services provide long-lasting solutions for many tree issues (such as disease), with extra care taken to promote tree preservation and retention.
Recycling
Sometimes corrective tree work needs to be done, such as pruning or emergency tree removal. Any by-products of those procedures are adequately reused or recycled. For example, limbs, branches, and stumps from a tree removal service can be turned into mulch and used in flower beds and other landscaping projects.
